It is well known that there are so many people in China. In order to reduce the population, China has drawn up a policy for family planning. It means that each family can have only one child. If you have a second birth or more, which is breaking the law and you need to be fined. While many Chinese people have the patriarchal mentality, and assert only men can continue the family line. Because of it, some want to have a boy at all costs no matter how much the fine is.
In recent years, the population has been decreased gradually.Basically, many families have only child, except for some remote areas. For the modern couple, if both of them are the single child in their families, the government can allow to have two childern. However, born in 70s and 80s people who do not like too many childern, and the idea is different from that of people in the past.
There are advantages and disadvantages under the one child policy~I want to know how much of the fine. This mean if you are rich, you can born babies as you want.

Hi Zairan,
ReplyDeleteWhat happens if a woman is pregnant with twins or triplets? Also (I find this topic really interesting...), have there been any obvious social effects due to fact that the number of men must surely outnumber that of women?
Quick feedback:
People (who were) born in the 70s and 80s do not...
