Carolyn's city - how it has changed
My hometown is Hamilton, where I lived until I was 18. Over the past twenty years it's experienced a large number of changes. One of the most noticeable ones is that many of the buildings in the main street have been demolished to make way for newer ones. Also, many of the other buildings have been upgraded and modernised so the city looks more attractive than it used to. The city has definitely become more multicultural in recent years and as a result many new cafes and restaurants have sprung up. Although these changes are positive, I still think that it's a slightly dull city - definitely not a must-see destination in New Zealand. :)

You have lovely grammar!
ReplyDeleteIt is very nice of you to tell us the negative features of your hometown, too. Everybody feels like promoting his town. Nice vocabulary ;)
