law and order - Jin

To be honest, the topic of “law and order” is a little professional and sophisticated for me. If someone asks me this question about China, I can’t say anything expect “Yes, our life is peace and quite.” It seems I have paid little attention to it before.
I think because of cultural feature in China people used to prefer to govern the country with the moral rather than with the law, which results in a large number of serious problems in the past. Some laws could not be obeyed strictly and amendments of laws could not keep up with the developments of our life, which makes someone not be responsible for his crime sometimes. Correspondingly, as a respectable and promising job in other developed countries, the lawyer is not popular in China.
Fortunately, more and more people have focused on such a problem, realizing laws are the base of running a state, only which can make a country in order.

  1. good understanding! I think the law and order is used to improve people's moral sense, not used to bind people.

  2. Hi Jin,

I found that really interesting, especially that becoming a lawyer is not so popular in China. Nobody has ever mentioned that to me before.
