VW - Germany's biggest company

Germany’s biggest company, according to the height of its revenue, is the car producer Volkwagen with revenues of $US 146,205 million. Regarded on the global scale, the company is located in rank 16. It employs 368,500 worker and has sold 6.3 million cars in 2009, more than ever before. 

In the year 1934 it was Ferdinand Porsche, who was asked to develop a car that was affordable for the whole nation in the former Third Reich, ruled by Hitler. In 1946 the first product was launched on the market. t was the model “Käfer”, which later on was to be a legend. From then on the company rapidly grew into a globally represented firm and currently absorbed the “Porsche” corporate.

    The history of the VW is indeed a very interesting one. I wonder know many people know that it was originally designed by Porsche.

    Just check your verb tense in the last sentence of your first paragraph. If you give a specific year, you can't use the present perfect (which brings the time up to now).
