Kristina`s city – how it has changed (Togliatti, Russia)
My hometown was not very big, but it has changed a lot during the past ten year period. What is noticeable is that the centre of the city has been completely redesigned. Most of the old buildings have been demolished to make way for modern blocks of flats and new office buildings. The central park also has been significantly upgraded and redesigned. A lot of trees have been replaced by huge shopping mall, which has been built between two main districts. There is a factory which has an assembly line of LADA cars that has also been renovated. Many individual shops and cafes have sprung up throughout. The infrastructure of my hometown has been slightly improved over the past 10 years, especially in a transport system. So, Togliatti has become really developed and way better-looking and I think it will be improving each year in the future.
