Hong Kong Airport is located in Lantau Island which is near the Hong Kong Disneyland. It is the biggest covered structure in the world. Completed in 1998, it took around 9 years from start to end and cost US$20 million.
In terms of the construction, environmental protection was the main idea. Glass is their cover materials which can though the sunlight directly rather than electric light during the day time. This airport is considerably better than other international airports by virtue of the fact that visitors go to city only to take around 20minutes by the airport express.

Not only do travelers take 5 minutes by bus to go shopping conveniently, but they also enjoy the cheaper price of the brand products. In addition, most of the foreigner can get through the Hong Kong immigration without VISA.This is one of the reasons why passengers choose this airport to transit.
